Thomas McDonald

  General Notes:

Thomas was the last of about 13 children. His father died just after he was born. Probably from Donaghenry Co.Tyrone Northern Ireland. Annie McDonald spent time at the farm in Ireland and attended the Albany Public Elementary School c1924


Lost one eye in shipyard accident, and later worked as gardener.. As children we believed he was responsible for Birkmyre park-at least that was the excuse we used to persuade other kids off the swings-this is my grandda's park! (comments from Ray Balsdon)
